Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda took a dominant victory at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach taking his first win of the season from pole position.

Rossi took victory by over 20 second from Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden in the No.2 Hitachi Chevrolet.

Graham Rahal in the No.15 Total Honda was penalized at the end of the race for blocking defending series champion Scott Dixon driving the No.9 PNC Bank Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing who finished the race on the podium in third place.

Graham Rahal finished fourth just ahead of Ryan Hunter Reay in the No.28 DHL Honda.

Simon Pagenaud in the No.22 DXC Technologies Chevrolet for Team Penske finished the race in sixth place.

Team Penske’s Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Chevrolet recovered from an issue to finish the race in seventh place just ahead of Takuma Sato in the No.30 MiJack Panasonic Honda.

James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda for Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports came home in ninth place.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s Felix Rosenqvist in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda rounded out the top ten.

Sebastien Bourdais in the No.18 Team SealMaster Honda for Dale Coyne Racing with Vassar Sullivan Racing was 11th just ahead of Patricio O’Ward and Marco Andretti.

Max Chilton in the No.59 Gallagher Chevrolet was 14th just ahead of Mathues Matt Leist for AJ Foyt Racing.

Ed Jones was 16th for Ed Carpenter Racing with Scuderia Corsa Chevrolet just ahead of Andretti Autosport’s Zach Veach in the No.26 Gainbridge Honda.

Spencer Pigot in the No.21 Autogeek Chevrolet for Ed Carpenter Racing was 18th just ahead of AJ Foyt Racing’s Tony Kanaan in the No.14 ABC Supply Chevrolet who hurt his back and knee following his qualifying accident.

Marcus Ericsson in the No.7 Arrow Electronics Honda was 20th just ahead of Santino Ferrucci in the No.19 Cly Del Honda.

Jack Harvey in the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda for Meyer Shank Racing. Harding Steinbrenner Racing’s Colton Herta in the No.88 King Taco Honda retired from the race.
