Arrow McLaren’s Alexander Rossi in the No.7 VELO Chevrolet was fastest in race day warm-up ahead of today’s Sonsio Grand Prix at the Road America circuit. The 2016 Indianapolis 500 winner, who has been fastest in every practice this weekend, set a fastest time of 01:41.7917s.

Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Women In Motorsports Chip Ganassi Racing Honda was second fastest with a 01:41.8080s ending the session just ahead of Team Penske’s Will Power in the No.12 Verizon 5G Chevrolet. who set a 01:42.0323s ending the session just ahead of Pato O’Ward and Andretti Autosport’s Kyle Kirkwood.

It was a solid session for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing as Christian Lundgaard and Jack Harvey ended the morning in sixth and seventh place, respectively just ahead of Marcus Ericsson in the No.8 Huski Iced Spritz Chip Ganassi Racing Honda.

Rinus VeeKay and Scott McLaughlin rounded out the top ten. It was a great session for Dale Coyne with RWR’s Sting Ray Robb in the No.51 Biiohaven Honda as he was 11th fastest with a 01:42.7960s just ahead of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Marcus Armstrong in the No.11 Ridgeline Lubricants Honda.

Simon Pagenaud was 13th just ahead of Josef Newgarden and Agustin Canapino who was inside the top five for a time during the session. Ryan Hunter Reay was 16th for Ed Carpenter Racing while championship leader Alex Palou in the No.10 American Legion Chip Ganassi Racing Honda was 17th just ahead of Graham Rahal and Romain Grosjean.

Pole-sitter Colton Herta rounded out the top twenty for Andretti Autosport just ahead of Devlin DeFrancesco and Felix ROsenqvist while David Malukas was 23rd just ahead of AJ Foyt Racing’s Benjamin Pedersen in the No.55 Sexton Properties Chevrolet while Helio Castroneves was 25th just ahead of Santino Ferrucci while Callum Ilott rounded out the order.
