Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi who won the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil earlier this year in his first season in the Verizon IndyCar Series has been extremely busy as he is also working with Manor F1 Team as their test driver.
This weekend, the American will be in Hungary for the Hungarian Grand Prix and with news that current Manor driver Rio Haryanto set to lose his drive due to a lack of sponsorship Rossi could have to choose between a career in F1 and his current career in the Verizon IndyCar Series.
The next Formula One race after Hungary is the German Grand Prix which takes place on Sunday 31 July the same day as the next Verizon IndyCar Series race.
The last race of the Verizon IndyCar Series season takes place on September 18 the same day as the Singapore Grand Prix which means that Rossi if Andretti Autosport would allow it could race at the Malaysian Grand Prix on October 2.
It is more likely that Rossi will decide over the winter what he wants to do next season.
