Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda has had a phenomenal 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series and has clearly made the series his home.
The Californian started the season off with back to back podium finishes at the season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg where he finished the race in third place.
Rossi followed up his podium in St Pete with a second third place finish under the lights in Phoenix.
At the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, Rossi completely dominated the race taking pile and the win.
Rossi’s next podium came at the Detroit GP race one where he finished in third place.
At the DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway the Californian finished in third place.
Rossi’s next podium came in July as he took victory at the Honda Indy 200 at Mid Ohio.
Rossi also took victory at the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway and followed this up with a second place at Gateway Motorsports Park.
Rossi goes into his home race just 29 points behind Scott Dixon with double points on offer next weekend, the Astor Cup is still well and truly up for graps!
