Indianapolis 500 winner and Sunoco rookie of the year leader Alexander Rossi who drives the No.98 Castrol EDGE Honda for Andretti Autosport is hoping that the team’s successful test at Pocono a few weeks ago translate to strong race pace this weekend.

The Verizon IndyCar Series heads to the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway this weekend. Rossi heads to Pocono in 11th place in the series standings on 316 points.

Speaking ahead of the race this weekend Rossi, who it was revealed will remain as Manor F1 Team’s reserve driver alongside Rio Haryanto for the rest of the Formula One season commented by saying:

I’m excited to get to Pocono this weekend. Ovals were a big unknown to me at the start of the year but I’ve come to enjoy them very much. I think our car had some strength in the test that we did a couple weeks ago and I hope that we can translate into a strong result in a race that means a lot to Andretti Autosport.
