Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi who drives the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts/ AutoNation Honda in the NTT IndyCar Series has signed up for Saturday’s inaugural NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Challenge at Watkins Glen International says he hopes the races open up the series to new fans.

Speaking during a conference call about the new series that will feature the 2020 NTT IndyCar Series cars complete with the new aeroscreen Rossi said that he hopes that fans of iRacing and sim racing  will transition into real life racing fans after watching Saturday’s race which will be broadcast live on the official NTT IndyCar Series website.

Rossi also confirmed that he will only participate in this weekend’s NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Classic . The Californian was the last driver to win at Watkins Glen International when the NTT IndyCar Series last raced there back in 2017.
