Alexander Rossi says that he is grateful to have been a part of Arrow McLaren’s internal growth over the past two seasons. It was confirmed on Tuesday that the 2016 Indianapolis 500 winner will leave the team at the end of the season with Christian Lundgaard of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing joining the outfit from next season on a multi-year contract.

In a statement, Rossi said:

My time at Arrow McLaren, while it’s been only short two seasons, has been rewarding in many ways. I’m grateful to have been part of the team’s internal growth.

Rossi scored his first podium of the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season last time out at the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey, finishing third behind race winner Alex Palou and his former Andretti Global teammate Colton Herta.
