Alexander Rossi, the 2016 Indianapolis 500 winner, will start the next chapter in his career in 2025 as he joins Ed Carpenter Racing from Arrow McLaren. The Californian joins ECR following two seasons with Arrow McLaren. During his two years with Arrow McLaren, he had a pair of podium finishes at Road American in 2023 with a third-place finish, while he also finished third in Laguna Seca earlier this year.

Rossi, who debuted 2016 with Andretti Global, will lead Ed Carpenter Racing alongside Christian Rasmussen in 2025. ECR has a new investor in the form of Indiana businessman Ted Gelov, the Heartland Food Products Group owner, the company that owns the Java House coffee company and Splenda sugar alternative company.

Java House and Splenda branding will appear on the No.20 Chevrolet in which Alexander Rossi will compete. Rossi hopes to compete for regular podiums and victories with Ed Carpenter Racing.

Ed Carpenter Racing has always done well at the Indianapolis 500, and they will be hoping for the same in 2025 with Alexander Rossi, who, as we all know, took victory in The Greatest Spectacle In Racing for the first time of asking in 2016, the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.

In October, Rossi got his first opportunity to drive the No.20 Java House /Splenda ECR Chevrolet at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
