Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts / AutoNation Honda will make his 100th NTT IndyCar Series start this weekend as the sport heads to his home state of California for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
Rossi began his NTT IndyCar Series career in 2016 with Andretti Autosport and took victory in the Greatest Spectacle In Racing, the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Since joining the NTT IndyCar Series in 2016, Rossi has taken seven victories including here in Long Beach in 2018 and 2019. Speaking ahead of this weekend’s milestone, Rossi said:
“I’m super stoked to get to Long Beach this weekend. It is, without a doubt, one of my favorite races as it is always nice to be able to race in front of a home crowd. The support that we have there each year is crazy, and it will certainly be pushing us forward to have a great weekend.”
Rossi heads into his home race this weekend in 27th place in the championship on 16 points.
