Arrow McLaren’s Alexander Rossi in the No.7 VELO Chevrolet is preparing for his final race in papaya this weekend with the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season-ending Big Machine Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Super Speedway.

The Californian’s best result of the season is a third place which came at the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey.

Looking ahead to the race this weekend, Rossi said:

“It’s pretty crazy to think that this is the final race of the year. I feel like the season just started, but here we are. This will be the end of my journey in papaya, but I can’t wait to end the season on a high note here in Nashville. It’s going to be a new venue for all of us, but I think we have an opportunity to have a great weekend.”

It remains unclear where Rossi will go in 2025 but Paddock Eye understands an announcement will come shortly.

Nolan Siegel in the No.6 NTT DATA Arrow McLaren Chevrolet is aiming to end his season on a high following his best result of the season of seventh at the Bommarito Automotive Group 500.

I’m excited to get going this weekend at the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. We had a lot of speed and potential in Milwaukee, and I think we’ll be in a similar spot at the Nasvhille Superspeedway. I’m looking forward to putting it all together and producing a strong result in the season finale.”

Pato O’Ward in the No.5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet goes into the race this weekend having scored three victories this season, most recently in race 1 at the Milwaukee Mile.

Speaking ahead of the weekend’s action, O’Ward said:

It’ll be my first time racing at Nashville Superspeedway at this weekend’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. I’m looking forward to closing out the season the right way. It’s been a rollercoaster, but we’ve had some great moments, so hopefully we can create another one in Nashville.”

Arrow McLaren Team Principal Gavin Ward says:

The finale is here as we head down to Nashville for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. We’re excited for what we expect to be some great racing on this short oval, but also for all of the partner activation we’ll have this weekend, both on Broadway and at Nashville Superspeedway. Not wanting to blow our own trumpet, but our oval cars have been fast this year, so we’re looking close the season out on a high note.”
