Scuderia Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz had a fantastic Sinapore Grand Prix. Starting the race from pole he came through to claim his first win of the season and bringing Red Bull and Max Verstappen’s winning streak to an end.
It was a great race for Lando Norris as he claimed his third podium of the season with second place.
Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Lewis Hamilton claimed his 196th career podium coming home in third place after George Russell crashed heavily on the final lap.
Charles Leclerc was left disappointed in fourth just ahead of championship leader Max Verstappen who came from 11th on the grid to finish the race in fifth place just ahead of Pierre Gasly and Oscar Piastri.
Sergio Perez came home in eighth just ahead of Liam Lawson who scored his first F1 points for Alpha Tauri.
Kevin Magnussen rounded out the top ten. Thw win was the first for Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur.
Alex Albon was 11th just ahead of Zhou Guanyu and Nico Hulkenberg. Logan Sargeant was 14th just ahead of Fernando Alonso.
George Russell was classifies 16th while Valtteri Bottas was 17th just ahead of Esteban Ocon just ahead of Yuki Tsunoda.
Lance Stroll didn’t start the race. Next up is the Japanese Grand Prix next weekend.
