Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing announced on Monday that Takuma Sato’s Indy 500 car has left their shop in Zionsville and is enroute to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The opening day of practice for the Greatest Spectacle In Racing gets underway on Tuesday.

Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Takuma Sato had a big accident during the opening test in April with RLL purchasing a new chassis from Dallara.

Rahal tweeted on Monday:
