The Sauber F1 Team confirmed on Tuesday that Pascal Wehrlein will be back in the cockpit for this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sakhir Circuit.

Wehrlein missed the opening two races of the 2017 Formula One season in Australia and China.

The German suffered micro fractures in his back after he crashed at the Race Of Champions in Miami in January.

Ferrari reserve driver Antonio Giovinazzi drove in place of Wehrlein for the first two races.
