The Sauber F1 Team’s Swedish sponsors have stepped in to ensure that the Hinwil based outfit’s staff are paid.
The Swiss based outfit are currently suffering serious financial difficulties with suggestions last weekend in Bahrain that the team did not have enough money to compete at the Chinese Grand Prix next weekend and would be forced to miss the race.
The team have already had to pay their staff late for February and March salaries are late however thanks to the early payment of sponsorship money that money is now securely in the accounts of all staff.
Sauber F1 Team Principal Monisha Keltenborn was not present at the Bahrain Grand Prix as she negotiates new sponsorship deals.
The outfit despite recent WILL be competing in the Chinese Grand Prix with some personnel leaving for Shanghai later today with the remaining team members flying out early next week.
