Schmidt Peterson Motorsports head to Barber Motorsports Park this weekend for the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama with James Hinchcliffe having scored his first top ten finish of the season last time out at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach where he finished the race in eighth place having started the event in seventh. Looking ahead to Barber he commented by saying:
Barber is a great track to drive Indy cars around. We had a really good test there earlier in the year, and coming off a solid performance for the No. 5 Arrow Electronics car in Long Beach, we are hoping to keep the momentum going forward for another strong result.
Mikhail Aleshin started the race at Long Beach from 18th place on the grid and ended the event in 16th place and speaking about the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama, the Russian commented by saying:
Barber is a great and very technical race track. It’s a classic road course. I’m very happy to be back on it with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports in the No. 7 SMP Racing car.
