Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe and Mikhail Aleshin head to the Kohler Grand Prix at the Road America circuit in Wisconsin following a successful few days for both drivers, Mikhail Aleshin joined fellow Verizon IndyCar Series drivers Scott Dixon and Sebastien Bourdais in competing at the 2016 LeMans 24 Hours where he Russian finished the race in seventh place overall.

Aleshin will be hoping  that he can carry this form forward to this weekend’s race at Road America and speaking ahead of the event he commented by saying:

I’m happy to come back to INDYCAR after a successful Le Mans race. I’ve never been to Road America before but I watched some on-board camera footage and the track looks pretty cool. There are a couple of very fast turns which is always exciting. I just hope that I will get some sleep before the weekend starts.

Aleshin’s team mate James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Honda heads to the Road America circuit following a successful tire test with Firestone this week at Watkins Glen International circuit.

The Mayor of HinchTown was leading the Firestone 600 at Texas Motor Speedway last time out on lap 71 when the race was suspended. The Canadian heads into this weekend’s race, his favourite circuit hoping for a strong result and speaking ahead of the Kohler Grand Prix he commented by saying:

I’m so excited to go back to Road America. This has been my favorite road course in the country from the moment I first went there in 2004. It’s the kind of track that Indy cars are built for. I hope that it’s a great race and it stays on the calendar for a long time.
