Verizon IndyCar Series team Schmidt Peterson Motorsports have confirmed that they have ended their partnership with Calmels Sports.
It was announced earlier this year that Tristan Gommendy was set to drive in the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil next year.
In a statement released by Schmidt Peterson Motorsport they said:
Schmidt Peterson Motorsports and Calmels Sport have mutually agreed to end their partnership of a 2018 Indianapolis 500 program. SPM will continue to focus on raising the level of performance of its involvement in the Verizon IndyCar Series. Both parties wish one another well for the future.
