Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda started Sunday’s Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at World Wide Technology Raceway from 11th following a tricky qualifying.
In the race however, the Iceman, who went into the event in seventh in the championship csme through the field to finish the race in fourth place.
Sunday’s race was the Iceman’s 410th NTT INDYCAR SERIES race start.
The No.9 PNC Bank crew did a great job in the pits which led to Dixon leading a total of 43 laps.
The result moved Dixon up two places in the championship to fifth and he is only 15 points behind fourth-placed Christian Lundgaard.
