Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Conor Daly in the No.76 MannKind Chevrolet scored his season-best result at World Wide Technology Raceway in the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 on Sunday. The Noblesville native ended the race in sixth place and led 36 laps on the night and speaking following the race, he said:
“After a bit of a missed opportunity last weekend, I’m glad we get the chance to turn around and get back at it again this weekend. Road America will be a great chance for us to get on track and build some momentum heading into the rest of the summer. We’ve shown what we’re capable of as a team, so I’m confident we’ll be out there fighting near the top this weekend.”
The results show that the hard work Juncos Hollinger Racing is doing is paying off and beginning to bear fruit, which is a testament to everyone on the team.
Sting Ray Robb in the No.77 Goodheart Chevrolet ended the race in 20th place, having started the race from 23rd place, and speaking following the action, he said:
That was a tough race… We probably had two good stints during the whole race, and the rest were really really tough. So, lots of learning to do. I think we need to take a good look at our package here to see what we need. Conor did a great job though, coming home in P6. Super proud of the team there, that was a solid effort…”
