Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Conor Daly in the No.76 MannKind Chevrolet scored his best result of the season to date on Sunday.
Starting the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at World Wide Technology Raceway from 15th the Noblesville native carved his way through the field and soon found himself leading the race thanks to some grest overtaking moves and strategy calls.
Daly led a total of 36 laps on the night and came home in sixth place just behind AJ Foyt Racing’s Santino Ferrucci.
Speaking following the action he said:
It was a really fun night for us. I knew the car was fast and Chevrolet gave us great horsepower to get to the lead of the race. We drove our way to the lead of the race and that felt really good. Thankful for the team and everything needs to be perfect to win a race. We just have to lock in and figure out the small details and we’ll get one.
