Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports have announced that Spanish NTT IndyCar Series veteran Oriol Servia will join the team for today’s open test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the teams and drivers get ready for the Month of May.

Servia will drive the No.77 Honda alongside Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports regular season drivers James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda and Marcus Ericsson in the No.7 Arrow Electronics Honda.

The test will also see the implementation of of AFP, the Advanced Frontal Protection system on all cars for the test.

The AFP is a device that deflects debris away from the cock-pit. The test which gets underway from 11AM ET is open to the public from the viewing mound at Turn 2.

It is unclear as to whether or not Servia will be driving the No.77 Honda for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 26.For ticket information visit –
