Reigning series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 Target Chip Ganassi Racing Team Chevrolet will start the race from 13th place alongside the No.27 Snapple Honda of Marco Andretti while JR Hildebrand for Ed Carpenter Racing will start the race from 15th place.
Charlie Kimball in the No.42 Tresiba® Chevrolet starts the race from 16th place just ahead of Verizon Team Penske’s reigning Indianapolis 500 winner Juan Pablo Montoya with Tony Kanaan in the No.10 NTT Data Group Chevrolet in 18th place while Sebastien Bourdais in the No.11 Team Hydroxycut Chevrolet will start 19th.
