NTT IndyCar Series team owner Mike Shank said he was overwhelmed after Jack Harvey in the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda for Meyer Shank Racing scored his and the team’s maiden podium finish in the NTT IndyCar Series with a third place finish.
Harvey who started the race from third place came home just behind winner Simon Pagenaud and Scott Dixon.
Speaking to IndyCar.com following the day’s action he said, Mike Shank said:
It’s a little overwhelming. “Because I’ve literally worked for 30 years in racing to try to come to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway podium and Jack – I give it all to Jack, the engineers and the crew, and I think the integration with Honda really worked today. Let it rain now but what a start to the month!”
