Verizon IndyCar Series car owner Michael Shank has ruled out running James Hinchcliffe in the No.60 AutoNation/Sirius XM Honda for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.

The Mayor Of HinchTown will not compete in next weekend’s race having failed to make it into the field of 33 for the biggest motor race in the world.

Speaking following qualifying Hinch said that there were options available however Michael Shank has said that they have commitment to their partners such as AutoNation and Sirius XM whose Managing Director Jim Meyer is a co-owner in Shank/Meyer Racing with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports.

Jack Harvey will run in the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil and will remain in the car next weekend.
