The Alfa Romeo Racing team announced on Friday that they have entered into a multi-year partnership with fuel provider Shell and in doing so have strengthened their ties to Ferrari.
As part of the new agreement, the Shell logos will appear on the side of the front wing end plates on the cars driven by Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi.
Speaking following the announcement, Alfa Romeo Racing team principal Frederic Vasseur said:
“Alfa Romeo Racing is delighted and proud to announce our partnership with Shell. It feels amazing to have the logo of such an iconic brand, which is so close to the heart of racing, featured on our car.”
