Andretti Global’s Kyle Kirkwood will pilot the No.27 Siemens AWS Honda for this weekend’s Detroit Grand Prix.
Siemens are Andretti Global’s older partner having been with the team since 1997.
With Siemens Xcelerator running on AWS infrastructure, Andretti Global engineers can now process massive volumes of race data in real time, enabling split-second decisions based on predictive analytics, optimizing everything from aerodynamics to race strategy.
Wind tunnel simulations, telemetry analysis and vehicle performance modeling are now integrated into a single, agile digital ecosystem, resulting in a faster, more responsive team that is ready to adapt to any challenge on race day.

“Siemens’ continued involvement with the team reflects the strength of our longstanding partnership and shared commitment to performance, and we’re happy to have them serve as the primary on the No. 27 this weekend. We’re also pleased to welcome AWS to our family of partners at the Detroit Grand Prix as the co-primary, along with Siemens, on Kyle’s car in the lead up to Realize LIVE Americas 2025 in Detroit following the race weekend. The collaboration between Andretti Global and these two partners plays a vital role in how we prepare, adapt and compete week in and week out.”
KYLE KIRKWOOD, DRIVER OF THE NO. 27 SIEMENS AWS HONDA, ANDRETTI GLOBAL
“I’m looking forward to not only having Siemens back on board for another race weekend, but also welcoming AWS to the team. We’ve had a good start to the season, and the team has been strong on the newly reconfigured downtown track layout in Detroit the last few years, so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do with the No. 27 Siemens AWS Honda this weekend.”
