Car #18 T. Katsuta – D. Barritt (Toyota Yaris WRC): “No brakes” [brakes issue at an hairpin and cruised through the final kms]
Car #8 O. Tänak – M. Järveoja (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): “It was actually not so bad on the hard tyres. At the beginning it was tricky but then they started to work. The setup is not for the hard tyres, we could not take advantage of that.â€
Car #7 P.L. Loubet – V. Landais (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): “I was a bit cautious after all what happened this morning. We do not have much to loseâ€
Car #44 G. Greensmith – E. Edmondson (Ford Fiesta WRC): “â€
Car #33 E. Evans – S. Martin (Toyota Yaris WRC): “Obviously not satisfied. We had a pretty good run it seems, but grip was quite low in some places, quite polished. I was quite surprisedâ€
Car #17 S. Ogier – J. Ingrassia (Toyota Yaris WRC):”[Neuville is a little bit faster?]We will see at the end. We have slightly different tyre choices. It was not a bad stage for us, let’s see.”.
Car #11 T. Neuville – N. Gilsoul (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): “I got a bit too much wheelspin on the uphill. I was maybe managing a little bit too much the tyres. We have a different tyre strategy, I have no idea which one is gonna be the best” [lost a bit of time in the final split]
Car #3 T. Suninen – J. Lehtinen (Ford Fiesta WRC): “[2secs. faster than Evans] It was good, there is still far to goâ€
Car #6 D. Sordo – C. Del Barrio (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): “For me the tyres were a little bit too soft. I was not really happy with the balance of the car. But Thierry was on the same tyres and he was faster, so we cannot complain.â€
Car #23 P. Tidemand – P. Barth (Å koda Fabia R5): “Safe and good stage so we enjoyed it. [maintaining that lead?] Yes!â€
Car #28 E. Bynildsen – I. Minor (Å koda Fabia R5):â€
Car #27 O. C. Veiby – J. Andersson (Hyundai i20 R5): “It was a good stage, absolutely. I was struggling a little bit with understeering. I tried to push a little bit nowâ€
Car 24 M. Ostberg – T. Eriksen (Citroën C3 WRC): “It’s like a tarmac stage, quite high grip but narrow lines and a little bit tricky. Quite OK, a nice stageâ€
Car #32 O. Solberg – A. Johnston (Skoda Fabia Evo): “It is not a bad time is it? I tried to push. It is all good grip and it is easy to make a mistake and think there is too much grip. You have to be smart”
