Hyundai Motorsports Dani Sordo took his second Rally Italia Sardegna victory in a row and third career WRC win at Rally Italia Sardegna on Sunday.
Sordo took the lead on Friday from Teemu Suninen and never looked back leading his team mate Thierry Neuville home by 5.1s to give Hyundai a 1-2 finish.
Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Sebastien Ogier completed the podium, 6.1s behind Sordo while championship leader Elfyn Evans was fourth.
Teemu Suninen was fifth overall for M-Sport just ahead of defending champion Ott Tanak and Pierre Louis Loubet.
Jari Huttunen was eighth just ahead of Kajetan Kajetanowicz while Pontus Tideman rounded out the top ten.
Marco Bulacia was 11th just ahead of Ole Kristian Veiby and Eyvind Brynildsen and Mads Ostberg and Martin Prokop.
Gus Greensmith was 15th for M Sport. Next up for the WRC is Belgium next month.
