President of Hulman & Company, the parent company of IndyCar and owners of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Mark Miles says that their new multi-year partnership with Speedway convenience stores and gas stations is the perfect fit for the series.
The partnership which officially began on January 1 sees Speedway become the official fuel supplier to IndyCar and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Speaking to IndyCar.com Miles said that he knew it was meant to be when he and other IndyCar officials travelled to Ohio and pulled onto the street where Speedway are based which was 500 Speedway Dr.
Speedway LLC will supply fuel to all of the teams in the IndyCar Series and also to Honda and Chevrolet as well as supplying IndyCar’s official vehicle fleet.
Speedway has been a stable part of IndyCar with employees going to Speedway for lunch and coffee from both the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IndyCar HQ.
