Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing confirmed on Wednesday that Steak N’Shake ‘the home of the original steak burger’ are returning to sponsor the team for a third season in the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2017.
The extension of their partnership will see Steak N’Shake be the primary sponsor to Graham Rahal’s No.15 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Honda for four races this year starting with the season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg which takes place in just over three weeks time, the 101st Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil, Mid-Ohio and the race at Gateway Motorsports Park.
Maxim Magazine branding will also continue to appear on the car this season, both Maxim Magazine and Steak N’Shake are owned by Biglari Holdings Inc.
Speaking about the contract extension, founder, chairman and and chief executive officer of Biglari Holdings Inc, Sardar Biglari commented by saying:

The partnership will once again see Graham Rahal wear the Steak N’Shake overalls and will also see a special fan event at the race in Gateway Motorsports Park in St Louis as it is one of Steak N’Shake’s biggest markets.
Speaking about the renewed partnership with Steak N’Shake, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing co-founder Bobby Rahal commented by saying:
