Andretti Autosport’s Stefan Wilson was on hand at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Monday where he unveiled his No.25 Driven2SaveLives Honda that he will drive for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil next weekend.
Speaking about the livery, Wilson, who comes from Sheffield, UK said:
The car looks absolutely stunning.“Seeing it in the flesh makes it feel that much more real and I can’t wait to get it on track tomorrow. Looking at all the logos on the car, I’m incredibly thankful to all those that made this effort happen. It’s been a long road to be back in Indianapolis, but I am determined to pay back all those who have believed in me with a great month of May.
Kellie Hanner, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Indiana Donor Network commented by saying:
Our guests today represent more than 115,000 Americans who today wait – 1,400 right here in Indiana…Each person who today waits represents our ‘why,’ our mission.
It was announced last week that Intelisys will serve as co-primary sponsor alongside Driven2SaveLives on the No.25 Honda.
At today’s unveiling it was also announced that solar development company, Inovateus Solar, Three Points Racing Foundation, an Indiana nonprofit organization, is aimed at helping translate, train and transition military veterans to the motorsports industry.
Rylo Camera’s have also joined Andretti Autosport as a partner to Stefan Wilson’s Indy 500 entry.
Wilson will join Ryan Hunter Reay, Marco Andretti, Alexander Rossi, Carlos Munoz and Zach Veach on track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Tuesday as practice gets underway ahead of qualifying this weekend for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.
