Harding Steinbrenner Racing team co owner George Michael Steinbrenner IV was delighted that his team were able to sign off the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca by swimming the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey.

Colton Herta in the No.88 Capstone Honda dept the weekend following a dominante display both on Saturday in qualifying where he took his third NTT P1 Award of the season and then in Sunday’s race where he held off the challenge of series veterans Will Power and Scott Dixon to win his second race of the season following on from his victory at the Circui5 of the Americas.

Speaking following the race Steinbrenner IV said:

It was incredible to finish off the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series with a win. “Overall this was Harding Steinbrenner Racing’s best weekend. The crew executed the pit stops perfectly and Colton drove a race where you couldn’t distinguish him from the INDYCAR veterans. It was a great way to end the season and look forward to the future.
It was a big weekend for the Harding Steinbrenner Racing organisation as it was confirmed on Sunday before the race that Copton Herta will join Andretti Autosport in a fifth Honda next season with the formation of Andretti Harding Steinbrenner Autosport for the 2020 season where he will partner Alexander Rossi, Marco Andretti, Zach Veach and Ryan Hunter Reay.
