Rosberg Xtreme Racing’s Molly Taylor and Johan Kristoffersson took victory in the inaugural Desert X Prix in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The pair ended the event with a winning time of 11:29s, 23.73s ahead of Andretti United XE team’s Catie Munnings and Timmy Hansen. X44’s Sebastien Loeb and Cristina Gutierrez completed the podium in third place.

Speaking following the race, Catie Munnings said that the team is super excited about the season ahead following her team’s second place in the race the whole team has done a fantastic job. In the shootout race, ABT Cupra XE Team’s Matttias Extromand Claudia Hurtgen came home in P1 despite the a crash between Hurtgen and Segi Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kyle LeDuc.

In the Crazy Race it was Andretti United XE’s Timmy Hansen and Catie Munning’s who took the win just ahead of Hispano Suiza Xite Energy Team’s Oliver BENNETT and Christine GIAMPAOLI ZONCA . JBXE’s Jenson Button and Mikaela AHLIN-KOTTULINSKY were third.

In the Semi-final race, Rosberg Xtreme Racing’s Molly Taylor and Johan Kristoffersson who took the victory just ahead of X44’s Sebastien Loeb and Cristina Gutierrez who were second while Acronia Sainz XE’s Carlos Sainz and Laia Sanz who were third.

The next event in Senegal takes place from May 29/30.
