The Verizon IndyCar Series teams take to the track on Monday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Monday for some more testing ahead of the ABC Supply 500 later this month.

A number of drivers were in action at Pocono last Thursday, so even though we aren’t racing for another two weeks it has been an extremely busy time for the teams as preparation for the final part of the season intensify.

It will be the first time since the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil at the end of May that drivers will be on track at the Brickyard.

The Verizon IndyCar Series teams uses these tests a lot of the time to evaluate young drivers from Indy Lights just like Dale Coyne Racing did recently with RC Enerson who was extremely impressive so much so that he is now part of the driver line up at Dale Coyne alongside Conor Daly.
