The NTT INDYCAR SERIES will head to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval next week for three days of testing combining the Rookie Orientation Programme and Hybrid systems test.

Hendrick Motorsports NASCAR Cup Series driver Kyle Larson will be in action for Arrow McLaren as he ramps up preparations to make his Indianapolis 500 debut with the team in 2024.

Larson will test on Wednesday and will be joined by Chip Ganassi Racing’s Marcus Armstrong and rookie Linus Lundqvist. Kyffin Simpson will not test at IMS next week as he needs to test on an oval before heading to IMS for his ROP.

Meyer Shank Racing’s Tom Blomqvist will also take part in the ROP session on Wednesday.

Thursday and Friday’s testing will be reserved for the 2.2 twin turbocharged V6 Hybrid systems test for both Honda Performance Development and Chevrolet.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s reigning series champion Alex Palou will be in action as will Team Penske’s Will Power.

Marcus Ericsson will make his test debut for Andretti Global having joined the team for 2024 from Chip Ganassi Racing. The Swede will be joined by his team mate Colton Herta.

Arrow McLaren’s Alexander Rossi will be joined by his new teammate David Malukas who will make his track debut for the Chevrolet-powered team.

Paddock Eye will have all of the action and reaction over the course of the three-day test.
