The 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil took place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway last weekend and did not disappoint.
The race had everything, from wheel to wheel racing and plenty of dramatic moments.
J Douglas Boles and the team at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway did an incredible job as always and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The Verizon IndyCar Series were fantastic and the access for fans was wonderful.
The fan experience was incredible, I have never heard of any other race venue allowing fans onto to the track on race day morning, which for me was an incredible experience being on the track at turn 4 looking down the main straightaway as the sun came up over the Pagoda was sensational.
On Legends Day it was wonderful to get the opportunity to walk around the Paddock and garage areas.
When it came to the racing we had 30 lead changes over 15 drivers and it was fascinating. Team Penske’s Will Power did an incredible job to take his first Indy 500 victory.
