The start of the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season is precisely nine weeks away! This year, we will see new faces in new places, with several driver changes up and down the pit lane.

The Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg, presented by RP Funding, takes place from February 28 to March 2. There will once again be 27 full-time cars on the grid because even though Chip Ganassi Racing has scaled back from five to three cars, there is a new team on the grid this year with the addition of PREMA Racing with Robert Schwartzman set to make his NTT INDYCAR SERIES debut in the No.83 Chevrolet. At the same time, Callum Ilott will drive the No.90 Chevrolet.

Meyer Shank Racing has a new technical relationship with Chip Ganassi Racing, with Marcus Armstrong joining Felix Rosenqvist. Ed Carpenter Racing has a new driver, Alexander Rossi, who is joining the team from Arrow McLaren. In contrast, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing has two new drivers after the arrival of Louis Foster. At the same time, Devlin DeFrancesco returns to full-time INDYCAR SERIES competition with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.

AJ Foyt Racing brought David Malukas to partner with Santino Ferrucci, while Christian Lundgaard joins Arrow McLaren. Juncos Hollinger Racing has an all-new driver line-up, with Conor Daly and Sting Ray Robb joining the team.

Chevrolet and Honda have a pretty even split for 2025, with Chevrolet having 14 cars while Honda Racing Corporation North America has 13 cars.
