Chip Ganassi Racing’s Tony Kanaan in the No.48 American Legion Honda says the car the car feels good as he took to the track for the opening few hours of practice for the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge which takes place on Sunday, May 30.

Speaking to NBC Sport during practice, the 2013 Indianapolis 500 winner has reunited with his long-term engineer Eric Cowdin.

Chip Ganassi heads into the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 with a 1-2 in the championship with Scott Dixon leading Alex Palou by 13 points.

Kanaan said that the team’s run plan for this afternoon is to get the setup right and to get ready for qualifying while on Friday they will work on their race day set up heading into qualifying.
