Verizon IndyCar Series points leader Simon Pagenaud felt that his No.22 Hewlett Packard Enterprises Chevrolet was fast as he put it through its paces at Sonoma Raceway on Thursday.
Pagenaud who leads the championship standings by 43 points heading into the final race of the season next weekend said he felt that the team have put down a good baseline for the race. Pagenaud also revealed that despite the intra-team battle with Will Power for the championship, all four drivers at Team Penske continue to work well together.
Pagenaud said that the team are treating the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma like any other race.
The Frenchman is happy that at least one of two Penske drivers, himself or Will Power will give Roger Penske a championship in the 50th year of Team Penske.
