Harding Racing’s Gabby Chaves says the new aero kit and new is great fun to drive as he and his new team begin preparations for their first full season in the Verizon IndyCar Series as they look to get a base for the new car.
Chaves ended the opening day of track action at ISM in 23rd place and speaking following his time in the No.88 Harding Chevrolet, the Colombian commented by saying:
We just finished our first official team day at ISM Raceway today. We went through our run plan, made some changes and learned a few things. We didn’t end up where we wanted to be with the car, but we will take what we learned today and apply that for tomorrow and improve from there. We’ll be working hard to get our Harding Racing No. 88 Team Chevy car up to the front.
The team have brought in Brian Bernhardt, the former Verizon IndyCar Series race director who has become Harding Racing’s Team President.
