Schmidt Peterson Motorsports have split the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda crew among their three other cars for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil after the mayor of HinchTown failed to make the field for the race.

Paddock Eye understands that Hinch will not compete in the race as the Canadian has said that although he would do whatever his bosses want him to do he would not take the ride of another driver who had already qualified for the race.

Schmidt Peterson Motorsports have Robert Wickens in the No.6 Lucas Oil Honda, Jack Harvey in the No.60 Meyer/Shank Racing Honda and Jay Howard in the No.7 One Cure Honda entered into the race.

It is likely that Schmidt Peterson Motorsports primary partner for the No.5 Honda, Arrow Electronics will have a greater presence on the No.6, No.7 and the No.60 Honda’s.
