Team Penske’s Scott McLaughlin scored his maiden NTT IndyCar Series podium at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday night where he finished in second place in the No.3 PPG Chevrolet just behind his countryman Scott Dixon says that the race was physically okay.

Speaking to Paddock Eye, McLaughlin said that he has learned about racing in dirty air and what moves he can do. McLaughlin said he was about to figure out the restarts on ovals.

The New Zealander who told us that he felt more comfortable in the car as the race went on. McLaughlin will start the XPEL 375 on Sunday afternoon from sixth place on the grid.
