Sunday’s 108th running the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge was action-packed throughout the field from the waving of the green flag right to the chequered flag.
There were a total of 649 on track passes which was the most since the 2017 event, the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500.
Arrow McLaren’s Kyle Larson who has now returned to NASCAR took home the rookie of the year award.
The 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES returns to the track this weekend with the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear with defending series champion Alex Palou leading the championship by 20 points from teammate and six-time series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda.
