Carlin Racing’s Charlie Kimball says that there is a lot to learn for his new team get ready for their first Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Californian is hoping to qualify for his eighth Indianapolis 500 while his team mate Max Chilton is aiming to qualify for his third Indianapolis 500. Kimball said that every who makes the grid for this year’s 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.

Carlin have a fantastic pool of experienced mechanics and engineers in the team and with their drivers working hard they should be able to make the field for the race this weekend with qualifying taking place on Saturday and Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Kimball said that the team haven’t had much time to race runs yet or running in traffic, they are just getting up to speed and focusing on their programme.
