Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts AutoNation Honda says that back-to-back race weekend’s in the NTT IndyCar Series are a blessing particularly when things are going well. The Californian heads into the Sonsio Grand Prix of Road America this weekend off the back of a second-place finish last time out in Detroit.
These back-to-back weekends are a blessing when things are going well. Really happy with the progress the whole 27 team has made and we are excited about our prospects at Road America – a track we’ve had some great moments at in the past.
Romain Grosjean in the No.28 DHL Honda says he loves Road America and is looking to racing there this weekend saying:
“I love Road America, it reminds me of Spa Francorchamps in Europe. The atmosphere and the fans at the track are some of the best. It’s a really high-speed track with some great opportunities for overtaking and racing. I’m very much looking forward to the weekend.”
Devlin DeFrancesco in the No.29 PowerTap Honda is looking forward to making his NTT IndyCar Series race debut at Road America this weekend saying:
“It’s one of my favorite tracks on the calendar. It’s a very fast road course and one I’ve always been a fan of. I did my very first race with Andretti Autosport at Road America back in 2020 with Indy Pro. I debuted on pole and led every lap until the end. Hopefully, we can find success this weekend.”
Colton Herta in the No.26 Gainbridge Honda felt that the team wasn’t able to get the maximum out of their car last weekend in Detroit and speaking ahead of the race this weekend he said:
“I love going to Road America. It’s a great track and we nearly won there last year. I think we had a good car in Detroit but we weren’t able to capitalize on it. So hopefully we can get something together this weekend.”
