The NTT IndyCar Series heads to Pocono Raceway for today’s ABC Supply 500 where we have Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden in the No.2 Hitachi Chevrolet on pole position for the race and starts alongside Alexander Rossi in the No.27 Military to Motorsports Honda.

The race this weekend is the start of an extremely busy period for the NTT IndyCar Series as we have three races in three weeks starting with the ABC Supply 500, next weekend is the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at World Wide Technology Raceway in Gateway.

The final race of the busy period will be the Grand Prix of Portland which takes place on September 1. The championship battle is very close with just 16 points separating leader Josef Newgarden and Alexander Rossi who is in second place, 47 points separate Simon Pagenaud and Josef Newgarden while defending series champion Scott Dixon is 62 points behind Newgarden.

The final race of the season will be the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTeach Raceway Laguna Seca on September 22nd where we will crown the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series champion.
