Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe has revealed that a failure on a tire pressure sensor on his No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda was the reason why he had to pit during his qualifying run on Bump Day for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Speaking at a press conference, the Mayor of HinchTown revealed that the tire pressure sensor had come loose and was bouncing around inside the tire so they had to pit the car to correct the issue.

The Canadian went on to say that the No.5 Arrow Electronics crew simply ran out of time to do another qualifying run.
