Arrow McLaren SP’s Robert Wickens in the No.6 Lucas Oil Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet was the star of today’s round 2 of the NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Challenge race at Barber Motorsports Park.
Starting the Honda Indy Grand Prix Of Alabama presented by AmFirst from the back of the grid in 29th place the Canadian came through the field to finish the 45 lap race in eighth place.
Taking to Twitter followers the race he said:
Today was a lot of fun! Happy with being in the top 10, can’t wait for next weekend.
It was Wickens first time behind the wheel albeit virtually of an NTT IndyCar since suffering serious injuries in a crash at Pocono Raceway on 2018.
