The Verizon IndyCar Series heads into another busy period following a weekend off. The series heads to Iowa Speedway this weekend for the Iowa Corn 300 this weekend for round eleven of the 2018 season.
Scott Dixon goes into this weekend’s race with a 45 point advantage at the top of the championship over Andretti Autosport’s Ryan Hunter Reay.
Following the race in Iowa the teams will head north to Canada for the Honda Indy Toronto at Exhibition Place in the heart of Toronto. The 2018 season has been extremely entertaining and highly competitive.
In the ten races we have had this season there have been six different winners with Scott Dixon, Alexander Rossi, Ryan Hunter Reay, Sebastien Bourdais, Josef Newgarden and Will Power have all taken victories this season. The next two races in Iowa and Toronto will be completely different with Iowa being an oval and Toronto being a street course.
Honda have been extremely successful on street circuits this season with their power winning in St Pete, both races in Detroit and the race in Long Beach while Chevrolet has been good on ovals at Phoenix and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
