Andretti Autosport announced on Thursday that United Fiber and Data will take over as primary sponsor to Marco Andretti’s No.27 Honda with immediate affect.

The news comes after his current sponsor hhgregg filed for bankruptcy. Speaking about the news, Andretti Autosport CEO Michael Andretti commented by saying:

We’d like to wish Bob (Riesbeck) and the entire hhgregg family luck as they work through the current situation. “We are blessed to have such loyal and dedicated partners; and while this is an unfortunate situation for hhgregg, we are pleased to have such a strong relationship remaining with United Fiber & Data.”

It is the fifth year of the pairs partner ship and speaking following the announcement, United Fiber & Data Founder and CEO Bill Hynes stated:

“We are proud of our longstanding partnership with Andretti Autosport, and we are equally pleased to continue this partnership by serving as a primary sponsor for select IndyCar races this season. “We look forward to once again bringing the signature colors of the UFD livery to IndyCar tracks across the country.
